One rule for every Tradeify account
Tradeify's help center says it plainly: "All Tradeify accounts use End-of-Day (EOD) trailing drawdown." After each session the floor rises to your highest closing balance minus the drawdown, and it never moves down.
The part most traders miss comes next: "Your drawdown limit only UPDATES at the end of each trading day, but it is ENFORCED continuously throughout the day." The check runs on your net liquidation value, open positions included. Touch the floor at 10:15 and the account fails at 10:15, even if the trade would have closed green. Enter the low of a day in the calculator to see it.
Evaluation: no lock at all
In the evaluation, the floor keeps trailing for as long as the account is open. The help center answers the question directly: drawdown "only locks on Sim Funded accounts. Evaluation accounts do not have drawdown locking." On a 50K evaluation with closes of $51,000, $52,500 and $53,000, the floor moves from $48,000 to $49,000, then $50,500, and ends at $51,000. Every new closing high tightens the next day.
Funded: a lock at $100 above the start
Once funded, the drawdown locks when the end-of-day balance goes beyond the drawdown amount by $100, or as soon as you request a payout, whichever comes first. On a Select Flex 50K that means a close of $52,100; the floor then stays at $50,100 for good. With the same three closes, the funded floor goes $48,000, $49,000, then $50,100, and stays there. Pick the funded account in the calculator to compare the two.
What the lock does not change
A locked floor is still a floor. It is closer to your starting balance, not further from your next mistake. The days that break an account are rarely the ones with a bad setup; they are the ones with a moved stop or a trade taken to win back a loss.
